Proposal--Unit 3

In the final semester, I plan to continue the theme of Unit 2, creating dreamy and illusory domestic interiors dream world, by painting skewed and fantastic room scenes. In order to help, at lest , encourage people to get through the world-wide plague. because I think the more pain is around people , the more  encouragement and pleasure is needed.

 

They are the rooms that most of the ordinary items placing in a normal room are all vanished, except window. I intentionally kept it, as the connection of the two worlds, or a screen that a man can see from another world. Or even, you can see it as a crossing door when people are disappointed with the environment you are in and want to escape from it, you can go through that dimension door to a strange, bizarre and dazzling space. 

 

In the process of making it, I feels better and helpful against tragic self-isolation. This work will help me maintain  positive. And of cause, there will be a new process of Unit 3, I will move the painting into 3-dimension. But the details is not decided yet.

 

It could be painting on large storage boxes

 

There are several planes.

No.1, painting the surface of each side with acrylic.

No.2, painting inside of each side with acrylic, and fix light which produces warm and faint glow on the bottom. With a cutting small window, that people can see inside from outside.

​

No.3, painting on every side of a box, both inside and surface, but with different style and scenes. Or totally opposite scenes on inside and surface against each other. While cutting windows on each side, or cutting down on side in order to widen the eyesight.

Maybe, cover with a transparent film on the open side.
